Microdermabrasion Machine New White LT Filter
Nue Skin LT Filter is a small white filter. It is important to change after every 15 to 20 microdermabrasion treatments. However, the life of the White LT Filter is only as good as the maintenance of the Gray Foam Filter.
Proper cleaning of the foam filters help maintain warranty compliance of your microdermabrasion machine. It helps increase the life of the Blue LT Filter as well as optimize vacuum/suction performance.
Nue Skin LT Filter dimensions are:
approximately Length 1/2″ x Width “1/2″ x Height 1 1/2″ with a 7/20” Thread
White filters are designed to protect the performance of Nue Skin Microdermabrasion Systems. After strict testing of other filters, we determined the 2024 New White Filter is the best.
The tight mesh of micron material provides an extra lining of protection. It is important to note because of the additional protection between the white filter in the canister and the internal Hepa Filter the motor performs extremely well. Furthermore, the two filters makes it beneficial to the life of the microdermabrasion motor.
What we see most often is early wear and tear of motors. The contributing factor is poor maintenance. This is the reason we continue to test components for the life of our Nue Skin Microdermabrasion Machines. We want our customers to have our microdermabrasion machines for Life!
Important Maintenance Instructions
When working with any microdermabrasion machine proper maintenance is essential. Good proper vacuum and crystal flow are important when performing consistent microdermabrasion treatment applications.
If a machine has poor crystal flow it could be a various reasons, here are a few troubleshooting options:
- Check the canister tightness, and ensure all canister are fitted well with no air leaks.
- Make sure the crystals are no more than 2/3 full. Do not fill the canister full with crystals it will hinder its agitation for the sipper tube to pickup the crystals through the handpiece.
- Also make sure the handpiece hoses are properly in the right port. It is important to insert int he right port because if the tubes are incorrect it may reverse the flow and empty into the Hepa Filter.
Here are a couple of reason for poor vacuum:
- The main reason is “Dirty Filters”, if the needle on the gauge reads 10 or more then you have a dirty filter for smaller machines. The larger motor machines will ready around a 15, if they read higher than a 15 -17, then you ahve a dirty filter.
- Check your handpiece. If the handpieces are worn, that may present a concern with the vacuum flow.
- Check the hoses, make sure the hoses have a secure fit to the handpiece.
- Make sure canisters have a secure fit.
Our testing of the new white filter has proven to be very good when contributing to the vacuum of the machine. It improves the operation and vacuum performance.

- To create a closed loop system. Apply your thumb directly over the tip of the hand piece.
- Do not move it until you have a proper reading of motor performance 23/24 inches/Hg or Nue Skin 500 motor reading 27/28 inches/Hg
- Once you have the appropriate motor performance then you may adjust your machine
- Adjust “Crystals” either “2 o’clock” or 12 o’clock” position
