Salicylic Gel Cleanser + clarifying actives is the next generation of cleansing for oily, acne skin conditions. This specialized cleanser treats and corrects, but will not dry, irritate, or trigger unnecessary sensitivity.
Keeping the skin balance is important to troubled skin conditions. An unbalanced skin promotes clogged pores, surface sensitivity, and potentially more acne conditions.
Using harsh astringents, topical medications, or over-cleansing is not an option any longer for long-term healthy balanced skin. Over exfoliating or cleansing will only compromise the skin’s health.
Not all cleansers are the same. Salicylic Gel Cleanser provides the perfect balance without dryness or irritation that may be present from other over the counter products or with other aggressive skin care lines.
It is important when using this cleanser to apply it directly on the skin without water. The formulation needs to communicate or bind with the skin’s chemistry before adding water.
When it binds with the skin’s chemistry it absorbs the daily debris, over accumulation of oil, and provides an oil and water balance to prevent sensitivity.
Use the cleanser twice a day until skin is balanced and breakouts are minimized and reduced. Then a client may use the Gentle Gel Cleanser + aloe vera juice at night to maintain the skin’s function and use the Salicylic Gel Cleanser in the morning to balance and manage an oily skin from daily skin stress.
Why it works
Salicylic Gel has an active ingredient derived from coconut oil that is clean, validated and non-comedogenic. It cleans oily and acne skin without irritation, dryness or redness. It also maintains a natural moisture balance while combating overactive sebaceous glands.
Salicylic acid exfoliates the surface of the skin while deep cleaning the follicle lining. It loosens dirt and debris from surrounding follicles and prevents reoccurring breakouts.
This water rinse-able cleanser is perfect as a treatment cleanser or as a daily maintenance cleanser. May be used on oily sensitive skin for managing blemished and troubled areas.
BHA cleanser is recommended for large pores, blackheads, whiteheads and milia cyst. Salicylic Cleanser may be used on active rosacea; skin with putsules and papules from an overactive oily gland.

Our BHA/Salicylic Cleanser formulation is created for skin that is either active oily or combination skin. Our cleansers do not dry, strip or dehydrate the skin. Most oily skin cleansers on the retail market are too drying or stripping. Skin has to have the perfect moisture balance in order to repair and recover overactive skin conditions.
How to use
Retail Use
Use morning and night, and additionally after exercise.
- Apply a generous amount to dry skin and massage for 1 minute.
- Moisten hands and massage for another minute.
- Rinse well with tepid/lukewarm water.
- Pat dry and proceed with one of our Skin for Life Toners.
- Finish with Skin for Life serums, moisturizers and sunscreens.
Professional Use
- Apply 2.5 ml/½ teaspoon to entire face, neck and décolleté.
- Massage for 1-2 minutes on dry skin.
- Moisten hands and massage for another minute.
- Remove with room temperature moistened towel(s), moistened gauze, and/or moistened sponges.
Be Creative – Try This!
- Dispense 2.5 ml/½ teaspoon of Salicylic Gel Cleanser into a glass bowl.
- Use a facial mask brush to whip into a lather.
- Proceed with application. Massage for 1 minute. (May Use Steam for 3 – 5 minutes)
- Moisten hands and massage for another minute.
- Remove with moistened room temperature towels, esthetic gauze and/or esthetic sponges.
