Microdermabrasion Replacement Pink Diamond and Blue Large Filters come in two sizes. Pink Diamond and Large Blue Filters have a lifespan of 15 – 20 treatments before replacement.

Large Blue Filter cannot be cleaned. Filters must only be replaced when they have reached their maximum use of 20 treatments. Do not wet filters or they may hinder the performance or damage the machine. Therefore, it is important to keep replacement filters dry.

However, if a buildup of crystals or grains are on a filter, a skin care professional may use compressed air to remove the buildup of material or use a dry brush.

Pink microdermabrasion units are an example of esthetic spa machines that have been in the esthetic industry since 1998. Therefore, they are still in existence today. Our service department has inventory for replacement supplies and when necessary provides service repairs.

We repair Athena, Light touch, PowerPeel, Parisian Peel and various overseas models due to the influx of Chinese copied microdermabrasion units.

Our service department has been repairing and supplying the esthetic industry since 2003. We have seen a lot of different models and due to the fact it is hard to find replacement parts, Skin for Life is the go to company to satisfy microdermabrasion customers.

We invest in inventory for customers that cannot find parts. Many companies like Delphia, Parisian Peel, SilkPeel and other microdermabrasion units replacement parts are expensive. Skin for Life tries to source compatible parts that are affordable to the working esthetician.

Many times when a machine is not performing up to quality standards, it is the filter that has not been properly maintained.

Our service department does an overall evaluation reviewing, filters, HEPA-filter, hand pieces, canisters, O-rings and motor performance.

Filters must be changed every 15-20 treatments. One pass of a microdermbrasion crystal or organic grain hand piece is considered one treatment pass.

Service technicians speak to estheticians or spa professionals daily, reminding them to do a thorough check of the following:

• Canisters – check the seal around the opening
• Filters – if not changed may cause harm to the internal component of the machine
• Internal filters – if waste canister filters have not been maintained, the internal filter may be compromised
• Hand Pieces – check tip and o-rings

The Difference in Pink Diamond & Large Blue Filter

There are three different filters that we carry. The Pink Diamond filter is manufactured for the Pink Diamond Microdermabrasion. This model of microdermabrasion is an older model and is rarely manufactured any more.

It is hard to obtain parts and this is where Skin for Life’s service department may help customers source microdermabrasion parts.

Large Blue filters are also specific to Diamond Peel, Diamond Fusion and Athena machine models. These machine systems are still performing services in spas.

It is difficult to obtain parts for these machines. Our service department is very familiar with repairing and supplying the above microdermabrasion machines.
