Microcurrent Conductivity Gel is formulated as a translucent gel that is applied before and during a microcurrent facial treatment. Our gel is hypoallergenic, non greasy, non irritating, odorless, latex free and PVC free.

Conductivity gel may also be applied before a ultra-sonic application. Application for both microcurrent and ultra-sonic are the same.

Formulated in Italy because of their strict cosmetic regulations. Conductivity gel does not contain salts, alcohol or formaldehyde. A clean and validated formulation with CE approval.

Non-greasy formulation is water soluble and non-staining to clothes or esthetic towels. Estheticians may apply a thick layer of gel per area when performing microcurrent.  For example, when performing microcurrent on the neck select one side to begin your treatment. Before applying gel apply serums and moisturizers for skin nutrition. Spa professionals may perform a 3-10 minute lifting massage. Apply a thick layer of microcurrent gel. Importantly, apply water over the gel in order to maintain conductivity with the skin.

Lastly, it is important to maintain a thick application for more sensitive areas of the face such as cheeks, nose and eye area.

Never use microcurrent gel as a finishing moisturizer. Apply serums and moisturizers as the final step.

Skin for Life sells only to licensed skin care professionals in the USA. However, conductivity gel is available outside the USA for medical use.

CE approved means “Certification Mark”. This mark is important to the European Union. When products have this mark on their packaging this indicates conformity with health, safety and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Estheticians will try aloe vera based gels for conductivity. However, our philosophy is to always use nutritional immunity driven skin care before conductivity gel applications. Clients may develop sensitivities from aloe vera based skin care gels. Due to the variations of ingredients and how the raw material is cultivated.

It is better for the skin in general to use a conductivity gel that is free from dyes and perfumes.
