Depending on the microcurrent machine a skincare professional may receive between five to twelve microcurrent lead cords. Each lead cord is the same. Microcurrent lead wires are manufactured for Nue Fusion Microcurrent Machines.

Nue Fusion Microcurrent 200 is our face only model. When receiving a Nue Fusion 200 machine a spa professional will have five lead cords. Each end of the lead cord has a black and red copper stem. The copper stem fits directly into the 30R facial pads.

These small pads are perfect for small facial features. They also have the perfect space between each pad so as not to interfere with the proper skin and muscle stimulation.

When working with microcurrent lead cords it is important to test each lead wire. Testing lead wires is essential so as not to interrupt the facial maintenance microcurrent treatment.

Performing microcurrent on the body, spa professionals may use 48S and 75R body pads. The Nue Fusion 600 Microcurrent machine is face and body. There is more variety when working with this microcurrent unit. Skincare or massage therapists may perform body contouring and core strengthening using lead wires and body pads.

How Do I Test My Lead Cord

It is important to test a lead wire before the scheduled microcurrent treatment. For those that have the Nue Fusion 200 Face Only Model, the test port is in front of the machine. When standing in front of the machine the test port is on the left of the machine and indicates “Test”. Test each cord for functionality.

The Nue Fusion 600 Face & Body Machine test port is on the back of the machine. When facing the back of the 600 machines, the test port is located on the left as a standalone port. Licensed professionals may use up to 10 lead wires for multiple body treatment protocols.

When testing a lead cord make sure you look into the test window for a “Green Light”. Green indicates the lead cord is good. If a lead cord does not prompt a green light, then try another lead cord for functionality. The lead cord that did not have a green light replace the cord by ordering from Skin for Life.

Another important note is each lead cord has the ability of separating from each other. This allows estheticians to position the lead cords around them so they may have complete mobility. Working with straight wands or ball wands it is advantageous to maintain control and be able to reposition when working with various facial features.
