Dry Skin Care Kit

The dry skin care kit replenishes essential lipids and water the skin needs for barrier function. When the skin is dehydrated it is susceptible to wounds, bacteria, and capillary damage.

The recommended products in this kit repair and reinforces the lipid barrier also known as the intercellular matrix. Without the stability of this barrier, the skin basically is weak, and it cannot protect itself.

If a client has a dry skin type, the skin is usually thin and may have some slight follicular congestion around the nose area. The capillaries may be present and can even have a redness because of the dryness and dehydration.

For dehydrated or dry skin it is extremely important clients use all the products for skin repair. The two products, Ultra Performing Complex and Moisture Complex work as a team. Ultra Performing Complex has essential lipids of Sunflower, Safflower, and Avocado Oil. These beneficial lipids are vitamin-enriched for skin health. They have an affinity to the skin’s own natural chemistry.

Apply Moisture Complex nourishing peptides on top for a second skin protection. Prevents dryness, chapped, and compromised skin. The additional peptides enhances the skin’s natural building blocks for additional skin strength. May use as a eye and lip balm for additional mositure support.

• Moisture Complex, if skin is extremely dry due to environment or seasonal changes apply a thin amount over the Ultra Performing for an extra skin protector against dehydration

It is important to always include physical sunscreen before applying makeup, or foundation. Even though makeup may have sunscreen included in the formulation, it is best to use physical sunscreen protection.

When the skin becomes balanced skincare professionals may remove Nourishing Oil. However, depending on the season, a dry skin type may need to perform these above five steps morning and night.
