SOL defense SPF 30 Physical Sunscreen Natural Tint revives a natural complexion and maintains a radiant glow. SOL defense SPF 30 smooths fine lines and wrinkles. Recommended for all skin types and conditions. This elegant silky-smooth coverage never leaves skin oily or greasy. However, expect an amazing healthy radiant glow with daily use.
Recommended for light to light-medium skin colors. Skin care professionals may let their clientele know to use this unique formula as a makeup primer. For instance, skin with dark pigmented areas may use this as a light coverage to minimize the appearance of skin discolorations caused by the sun or medication.
Our sunscreens are physical sunscreens, which means we do not formulate with chemical sunscreen ingredients. Physical sunscreens are free from chemical ingredients such as oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate and octinoxate.

Chemical sunscreens may cause heat which increases the chances of skin inflammation. Physical sunscreens assist the skin with reflecting harmful UV rays without increasing heat. Physical sunscreens include zinc oxide and titanium dioxide for maximum skin protection against harmful sun exposure.

Mineral sunscreens are known to offer UVA/UVB broad spectrum protection. Mineral sunscreens are recommended for skin sensitivities because they are less likely to cause skin irritations.
Chemical sunscreens have a negative association because of the chemical filters. Those filters have a significant impact in the ocean floor. They are a contributing factor to coral reef deterioration. Most will not recommended chemical sunscreens to sensitive skin because of the higher irritation skin result.
How to use
Retail Use
Use morning after nourishing moisturizer(s). Apply small amount of SOL defense SPF 30 Broad Spectrum Physical Sunscreen to face and neck. Reapply if necessary. Blend well. Recommend Skin for Life’s cleansers, toners, serums and moisturizers to prepare and complete home care routine for healthy skin results. Reapply as needed or after towel drying or swimming. For children under 6 months, ask doctor.
Professional Use
Apply 1.25 ml – 1/4 tsp amount of SOL defense SPF 30 Broad Spectrum Physical Sunscreen as the final step of skin treatment after nourishing moisturizer(s) application. Apply SOL defense SPF 30 Broad Spectrum Physical Sunscreen to face, neck and décolleté. May include ears, hands and body.
The recommended sunscreen application amount for skin protection is as follows:
- Face & Neck – 0.3 tsp
- Chest and Stomach – 1.14 tsp
- Both Arms – 1.14 tsp or .57 tsp for each arm
- Back – 1.14 tsp
- Both Legs – 2.28 tsp or 1.14 tsp each leg
It is also recommended to reapply these above application amounts for total protection from sun exposure.
Zinc oxide and Titanium dioxide are mineral-based, so rather than absorbing light they sit on top of the skin and reflect and block harmful UV Rays.
