Microcurrent Ball Wands are manufactured by Skin for Life. We have designed our wands to excite the skin response. The spheres have the perfect width when lifting and/or holding for the count of 3 – 5 seconds for skin to muscle contraction.

Our hand pieces are made of stainless steel so therefore have excellent conductivity in conjunction with our Microcurrent Conductivity Gel. It is ideal for skin success.

The purpose of the microcurrent ball wands is to strengthen muscle to skin response. It is a deeper wave of isolated energy. However, spa professionals may adjust individual intensity for client and/or patient comfort.

When a sensation is present on the skin the messages go to the brain which is called “afferent”. The messages from the brain to the skin and muscle is referred to as “efferent”. These types of pulses are what triggers the actin and myosin from the muscle fiber which promotes z-line to z-line contraction.

When using the ball wands perform 3 passes per area. Do not over work the muscle because this will only contribute to muscle fatigue.

In order to firm and tighten the skin, skin care therapists may schedule clients twice a week for a “Skin Fitness Program or bi-monthly as a treatment add-on.
